KP Kids Playgroup

Story Time at Playgroup

At Kimberley Park State School, we recognise the importance of the learning that occurs before children start school.
Kimberley Park State School are proud to host 'KP Kids' - an on-site playgroup that meets on Tuesdays from 9am to 10:30am on one of out Prep Classrooms. KP Kids is affiliated with Playgroup Queensland and provides teacher-facilitated sessions that are a fun mix of songs, rhymes, movement, stories and activities for parents and children to engage in together. KP Kids is for families of children aged 0 - 5.
During our playgroup time, parents, grandparents and their children sing, dance and interact with one another in a fun and supportive environment. Parents and children are then invited to participate in a shared morning tea and to enjoy some unstructured playtime. Playgroup activities are designed to promote oral language, early literacy and numeracy skills in our children.
