In addition to our weekly physical education lessons children from years 5 to 7 are given opportunities to compete in an inter-school sports program. Sports offered can vary from year to year, but core offerings include rugby league, soccer, touch football, AFL, netball, cricket, basketball and softball. The school also has four inter-house sporting teams – Mooloolah (blue), Jagera (green), Aranda (red), and Kalkadoon (yellow). Following our school athletics carnival representatives have the opportunity to compete at a divisional, regional, state and national level depending on their success at each stage. Children are also given the opportunity to trial for regional teams in all primary school team sports.

To further enhance our sporting program we invite specialist coaches from selected sports to run programs to introduce children to a wider range of sporting activities. These vary from year to year but have included sports such as baseball, cricket, futsal and squash.

In planning is a swimming block organised for all year 2 children in Term 4 with a follow-up in year 3. The swimming program also includes the upper school.
