After School Soccer Clinic Cancelled
If you have received a note home with your child about a soccer clinic starting next week please disregard it. There has been a double booking and it will clash with the Auskick clinic. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Under 12’s Boy’s District Cricket
Pacific Rim cricket trials are being held on 8th & 9th August. These trials are open to any boy born 2005/6 (2007 need to be of exceptional talent). It is suggested that any students wanting to trial have played  red ball cricket at a club level. Any family interested in sending their child to these trials please contact Mr Esposito (pespo1@eq.edu.au) to discuss your child’s suitability to trial.

Under 12’s Girls Regional AFL
South Coast are holding trials for a Girls AFL team on 9th August These trials are open to any girl born 2005 to 2007. For any girl who wishes to trial but doesn’t play the game at a club level, I suggest they have an above average set of ball handling skills, can kick and are familiar with the game. Any family interested in sending their child to these trials please contact Mr Esposito (pespo1@eq.edu.au) to discuss your child’s suitability to trial.

1500m Trials Beenleigh Zone
This year will see the  introduction of a 1500m event for 10, 11 & 12year olds (2005-2007) at a selection trial immediately prior to the QSS 10-12years State Championship. This has come about as a consequence of it being included as an event at this year’s Pacific School Games.

The Beenleigh Zone committee has decided to hold a selection trial to select the best 1500 metre athletes.  These may be 800 metre runners, cross country runners or those that are genuine 1500 metre runners.
The Beenleigh Zone 1500m trial will be held on Friday 11th August as a separate event to the Zone Athletics trials. If you would like the opportunity for your child to participate please contact Mr Esposito (pespo1@eq.edu.au) for further information and details.
